EASC-certified further training in life coaching at 4progress, Zurich

If you search the internet, there are thousands of coaches in Europe.

In the meantime, another term is increasingly appearing: "Life Coach" or "Life-Coach". Just a marketing gimmick? Just another need? Or even just a more appropriate name for the previous type of coaching?

This inevitably leads to the question of what distinguishes coaching from life coaching. To come straight to the point: There is still no agreed definition among the professional associations in Europe. Some even refuse to deal with it, while others - for political reasons? - are simply waiting. Be that as it may: From the client's point of view, the question arises:

Can a trained (!) coach or supervisor cover the area of "life coaching" - quasi automatically? A professional colleague said in response to my question: "We all started with life coaching before we offered coaching. The answer at least showed that we were not talking about the same thing. Ultimately, we cannot avoid distinguishing - not separating! - what constitutes coaching and life coaching. Otherwise, even more will be packed under the term coaching than before....

Back to the question: Can a trained coach or supervisor cover professional topics and equally life topics to the same extent? In general, we can hardly assume so, because special knowledge is required especially for life-oriented topics. This specialised knowledge - such as practical philosophy - and the different approach is taken into account in our upgrade for coaches and the one for supervisors. And one more thing: we prepare you for the Federal Diploma in Psychosocial Counselling at the same time. For residents of Switzerland, this means 50% reimbursement of the training costs from the federal government.

Další vzdělávání v oblasti životního koučování s certifikátem EASC u společnosti 4progress v Curychu

Když si vyhledáte na internetu, zjistíte, že v Evropě existují tisíce koučů.

Mezitím se stále častěji objevuje další termín: "Life Coach" nebo "Life-Coach". Jde jen o marketingový trik? Jen další potřeba? Nebo dokonce jen vhodnější název pro předchozí koučování?

To nevyhnutelně vede k otázce, čím se koučování liší od životního koučování. Abychom šli rovnou k věci: V Evropě stále neexistuje žádná jednotná definice mezi profesními asociacemi. Některé se jí dokonce odmítají zabývat, zatímco jiné - z politických důvodů? - prostě vyčkávají. Ať tak či onak, z pohledu klienta vyvstává otázka:

Může vyškolený (!) kouč nebo supervizor pokrýt oblast "životního koučování" - kvazi automaticky? Jeden z kolegů profesionálů na mou otázku odpověděl: "Všichni jsme začínali s životním koučováním dříve, než jsme nabízeli koučování. Z odpovědi alespoň vyplynulo, že nemluvíme o tomtéž. Nakonec se nemůžeme vyhnout rozlišování - ne oddělování! - co představuje koučování a životní koučování. Jinak se pod pojem koučování nabalí ještě více než před.....

Aby to bylo pro klienty přehlednější, a tedy jasnější, co od koho mohou očekávat, rozlišuje 4progress následujícím způsobem:

Zpět k otázce: Může vyškolený kouč nebo supervizor pokrýt profesní témata a stejně tak životní témata ve stejném rozsahu? Obecně to můžeme jen stěží předpokládat, protože speciální znalosti jsou nutné zejména u témat zaměřených na život. Tyto speciální znalosti - jako je praktická filozofie - a odlišný přístup zohledňuje náš upgrade pro kouče a ten pro supervizory. A ještě něco: současně vás připravujeme na federální diplom z psychosociálního poradenství. Pro obyvatele Švýcarska to znamená 50% úhradu nákladů na školení od spolkové vlády.
